Baolin Deng is Curators’ Distinguished Professor and Andrew A. Davidson Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Johns Hopkins University and conducted postdoctoral research in the US Air Force Research Laboratory. His research concerns drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment and reuse, environmental processes for contaminated site remediation, and separation processes for desalination and critical materials extraction. Dr. Deng has been PI/co-PI for over four dozen research projects and published over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles with significant impacts.
