Dan Cassidy

Dan Cassidy lives on a farm near Millersburg, Missouri. The farm produces soybeans, wheat
and grain sorghum.
In December of 2020, Dan retired after serving as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of
Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) since 2003. He also served as the organization’s Director of
National Legislative Programs for six years prior to being appointed CAO.
Dan has also served as Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Program
Director for the University of Missouri’s Food and Agriculture Policy Research Institute and the
Legislative Assistant for Agriculture for U.S. Senator Christopher (Kit) Bond.
Dan earned a B.S. in agricultural economics from New Mexico State University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Missouri.
