Shuangyu Xu

Assistant Professor

Dr. Shuangyu Xu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Missouri. Her research is primarily focused on: 1) developing and promoting sustainable tourism for communities; and 2) working with stakeholders to comprehensively understand tourism impacts. She is also experienced in examining visitor behavior and experience in diverse settings (e.g. national/state parks, agritourism farms, farm-to-table restaurants), funded by different agencies (e.g., MO Dept. of Natural Resources, National Park Service, USDA, US Forest Service, Cave Research Foundation).
